English language version in a prestigious editorial format printed in Limited Edition in the name:
SECRET STORIES ON THE SILK ROAD.
SIMBOLS, ARCHITECTURES AND MYTHS BETWEEN ITALY, THE MIDDLE EAST AND CHINA
MIMESIS International, Resilienze Series, 2020
Authors Alessandro Coscia and Sergio Coppola
After the 1st Edition in Italian, the authors received a request for a 2nd Edition, extended to the city of MEDIOLANUM, capital of the Western Roman Empire, due to the request received from the Anglo-Saxon countries and China. Thus was born a book in English, dedicated to the international market.
Subsequent organizational events in Milan at the Braidense National Library led to the printing of two new updated editions in Italian with the patronage of: MiC Ministry of Cultural Heritage - Municipality of Milan, Town Hall1 - Braidense National Library, Amici di Brera Association - Pinacoteca di Brera with Director James Bradburne - Italian Chinese Institute, Honorary Consulate for Uzbekistan.
The idea and the research came from Sergio Coppola, a great promoter of this project, from his trips to Ravenna and Istanbul and from the contribution received from Elena Ventura, a Turcologist graduated from Sapienza University of Rome who also oversaw the editorial project.
The historical-theoretical research is by Alessandro Coscia Archaeologist MiC (Ministry of Cultural Heritage) operating at the Pinacoteca di Brera. The English edition contains a contribution written by James Bradburne entitled: SILK RIVERS.
